Default FUEL LEAK

Has anyone had the experiance of the fuel tank leaking on the v8, I recently had a lpg system fitted and can`t help thinking it is related ,since the tank is plastic and the leak is coming from the front of the tank and above the rim its difficult to see exactly why and where.
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

Check wikt the dealer there is a recall on the gas tanks.
I have a 96 and dealer changed it out 8mo ago no charge.
It was something about leaks on the tank.

Hi there Landzu,
thanks for the reply I might make an enquiry on that one once the New Year holiodays are over ,you said that the leak was from the top or on the tank, as the tank was plastic I can only assume it was the pipes on the top located under the floor. I have just been doing my own investigation on this area and right enough the fuel pipes and its connections are completely rotted away so that seems to be the trouble but looks like a tank off job!
I hope the dealers are replacing this one but its probably different in the UK?

The lpg is great -- less money to fill up with , and works well .Slightly leass mpg but does well on a good run on steady mph.
