Default Fuel leak

I have 1998 Discovery 2 TD5 and I can see a small fuel leak from the back, left hand side of the engine compartment. I have attached a couple of images. Can anyone identify the part shown. Many thanks

I think that's the fuel pressure regulator.

X1 ............ If you can smell diesel fuel it's defo the FPR. The later FPR's were modded to overcome this pressurisation problem but it's pointless unless you regularly change the diesel filter (behind the O/S rear wheel) and the non return valve/air bleed valve on top of it. It should be a service item.

Of course if it's engine oil it could be leaking from the rear camshaft seal. You'll need to clean down the rear of the engine with degreasant and jet wash to identify exactly what is leaking and from where.
