Default Fuel Line Connection

This will be an easy question, but I wanted verification.

I am replacing the head gaskets on my 99 Disco II. I have the lower intake loose and need to disconnect the fuel line from the intake. I assumed the line was connected by a compression fitting but have not been able to get the line to let go.

Is this a compression quick disconnect type connector? If so, what size removal tool should I be using.

Thanks for any response.

On my 03 there is a green rubber boot that covers the fuel line at the fuel rail. You can sort of peel the boot backwards and you'll see exactly how it works. You have to depress the grey button part of it and pull it back. you can sort of see part of it here...

Thanks a million jycsalas. It was a breeze to disconnect with your help.

Thanks for helping out a "rookie".

I almost found out the hard way and was pulling harder than i should have when the green boot slipped off and saw how it worked.

Good luck with everything.
