Default Fuel Pump Issue?

Had a nightmare morning with immobiliser playing up but that's another story! Now I think the fuel pump may be dying. It's started to make a racket when starting, just whirring loudly. Today it has been a sod to start. The engine turns and turns and eventually catches, just at the point I'm about to hit the panic button because I think the battery is about to die. There is a bit of sluggishness when I put my foot down too so could this also be down to the pump not keeping up with my lead foot? I have had the turbo actuating arm replaced so I don't think the snail issue is down to that.

Hi Harvir,
Yes it is but I think it may be sorted. I was sent a link on how to purge it and after a lot of whirring and grumbling his lordship fired up straight away and the pump stopped grumbling. Hopefully he will behave now on that front.
How ever I still have issues with central locking not working from fob! He won't lock with the fob, so have had to just lock the driver door which is ok apart from one door not locking and then it does sometimes leaving me not being able to get into any other door when I unlock! Then once he's locked me in when driving, all the doors lock and when I stop all doors open. Not sure if it is a wiring issue. The towbar wiring may be a bit dodgy as they failed on the MOT and I've been told all the wiring goes into the loom behind a back light so I guess that will have to be investigated next. I love him to bits but just at the moment I could kick hell out of him as he's my only mode of transport until I get my bike back on the road.
Thank you for replying!

I’m glad to hear it’s running better.
