Fuel tank leak - what to do?
I had noticed a small puddle every morning underneath my car for the past 2 weeks. This morning I caught the car dripping fuel out of a tiny hole in the bottom of the fuel tank.
Is there a putty I can buy, or something I can use to clog the gap? It's not much bigger than a pin head.
Any recommendations?
No, I am not buying a new fuel tank, ha ha.

Thank you immensely, both of you.
I reckon I'll get the repair kit as a temporary solution. May be a few months before I can get a new fuel tank, or fit one from the junkyard.
In process of doing a huge move across the country at the moment, so this leak comes at an inconvenient time... typical Land Rover!!!
Ha ha
Thanks again, you guys have been awesome since I signed up

If you have to repair the tank you might reconsider the Permatex kit >> "THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR USE ON PLASTIC FUEL TANKS".
