I would replace your fuel purge valve with the Hyundai one. Its closed and it could fool the smoke test.
Also if your exhaust is leaking it could also throw that code

My purge valve is operating correctly and I don't have any exhaust leaks. I don't believe in firing the parts cannon at my issues

the throttle valve is leaking through the shaft, i found several other cases of this leak on the forum

So I am still fighting this issue. Every 3-4 days after a clear, the car will set a p0171/p0172 and a p0174/p0175 for mixture adaptation factor fra bank 1 and bank 2

this time around the car also set a p0440 evaporative control system fault

I had tossed a purge valve at it even though my original unit was working just fine about 2-3 months ago, and after this time around with the p0440 setting, i checked the valve and it is not stuck open and it cycles correctly

I smoke checked the intake system for the umpteenth time and again, no smoke anywhere. I did not yet smoke check the fuel tank/evap system for leaks, but that will be my sunday project on top of a tranny service

MAF reads right, O2 sensors read right and cycle correctly, during the rebuild I replaced the fuel injectors with eBay rebuilt ones(the $80 set) and they seem to work flawlessly, no fuel leaks, no exhaust leaks

Totally stumped here

My girlfriend picked me up in the Rover yesterday(The car is my offroader/beach car, but she uses it for her daily) and the SES light was off, it looks like the faults self-cleared between wednesday afternoon and thursday evening. No idea why. I had taken off the purge valve from the intake and done testing on it wednesday, so perhaps something was leaking minutely or was stuck and has now cleared? No idea. I still plan to smoke test the evap/gas tank system this weekend and check the Canister vent valve for correct operation as that is the only other piece in the system that could cause a similar issue

BTW, for anyone looking for a canister valve, the OEM unit is $200+ through all online suppliers, but just like the intake purge valve being the same as many others, our canister valve is as well.

A GM 13575703 valve is the exact same unit and is $15-$30 based on where you find it. It does not come with the plastic line, so be mindful if yours is broken or fragile. You can also get the wiring pigtail for this valve if yours is damaged or not in good shape, GM#19257603

Since you are getting codes for both banks...l'd be looking for a vacuum leak between MAF and throttle body/intake manifold. Or the MAF would become suspect. Normally, when both banks are affected...it is something up stream.
