Keep in mind it also can be fun to work on these vehicles. I always seem to learn something when I do a new/bigger job, and there's some value in that, at least for me. I think it'd be fascinating to do a frame swap.

Absolutely agree. If I could find a garage spqce to rent for cheap and could take my time and maybe aquire a helping hand from a fellow enthusiast, Id gladly tackle the job and save $10,000. I,bet it would be a royal pain in the *** but the potential for learning would be worth every moment and the satisfaction of completing a major project fee others would do.
