Default Gas Cap for D2

I found the problem to my hard cold starts, I can get it started after I prime the pump, but it loses pressure after I turn it off. Today I went to get some gas and I noticed fuel all over my side panel and around the seal of the gas cap. I need a new cap, and would LOVE to not have to spend 40$+ in a genuine one if I don't have to. Anyone running a different gas cap or heard of it?

Thanks.

nope thats about the going rate... Atlantic British is 36 Rovers North is 38. all plus shipping. I would just get one from the closet source. Or you can try just replacing the gasket for 20.

just goto Autozone/O'Rielly/any parts store and pick one up for $12 of so.. I think that is what i paid... they are not special gas caps... only special to LR, because they put there logo on it and feel they can charge $40

EDIT:
I take that back... Rockauto.com has a slew of them ranging from $3.50 - $27.00

I run a STANT 10817 in the DII. They also make a locking cap.
