not broken, closes after gassing up but will occasionally open on its qwn while riding.

 

The bracket on the back of the fuel door that holds that clip may need to be adjusted, the clip might just barely being holding.

Watch the engagement while closing, and gently tweak the bracket which ever way it needs to go.

 

I just bent the bracket back to get a proper latch
