Default Gasoline leak from transfer case!!??

Hiya gents it's been awhile since I've last posted on here but I'm a bit perplexed as to why my transfer case is squirting out gasoline. Backstory for about two weeks I've been noticing some strange things on my Disco. At a complete stop then when I press the gas it hesitates and then bucks when it engages. I took drove it this past weekend and came back home, my Disco started smoking and grinding, I had suspicion that the TC was on its way out. It's been sitting on my driveway and took the chance to swap out my dashboard, today I'm sitting inside and I wanted to test my AC so I cranked it on then turned it off when I was done and then all of a sudden I here some squirting of liquid, I went to investigate and there's a puddle of liquid of which smells like gasoline, now I know for sure only oil goes in there as it's a sealed box but do you guys have any ideas as to why there would be gas in there??

Are you sure it coming out of the Tcase itself? The fuel line is mounted to the right hand side of the tcase under the passenger side by a clip. Perhaps something rubbed through?

If your transfer case is producing gasoline I'd like to talk about purchasing it. I'd need to send some fuel samples off to verify the quality but I'm 99% sure I'll buy it even if it's tossing out 87 octane.

Well I did go out to the woods, either that or the charcoal canister is clogged aside from the bucking I've also been smelling gas throughout my vehicle. So I bought a new one to replace it. Currently my Disco has 208000+ miles on it.

Default Finally got it fixed but another problem arises!

Hey gents so it was definitely a lack of oil and or periodic maintenance on the transfer that caused its failure (more on me really). I reached out to my local Rover junkyard guy and so he sold me a transfer case, bought the one with the locking one and he also gave me another transfer case for free! Pretty sweet deal. Anyways I had the non locking one installed and I'm rebuilding the other. I got it back drove it around definitely felt better but like now my transmission is on its way out! So I'm gonna buy a whole new one from Ashcroft overseas.

Biggest issue is checking the oil level on the tcase, that is what this is designed for: https://extinctmotorsports.com/land-...l-sight-glass/
