Default Gbr drive shafts

Going to put my HD GBR drive shafts in after work. The rear 1 comes with a flex coupler conversion, does anyone know how to install this I haven't got it yet to look at. Just trying to be prepared don't wanna run into any road blocks. Anything else I should look for?

thanks Joe

The tuff part at least on a 03/04. Not sure if it different on earlier models, is removing the centering pin, on the rear pinion. It was a bear on my 2003. Here is a video and the solution I came up with. Took some thinking and craftyness with a 3 arm puller and 3 3/8" 3" socket extensions.

So I tried this approach, I broke 1 of the bolts that I was using to back it out man is that thing in there.. Luckily I was able to get the bolts back out and put my old rear drive shaft back in. Going to try again tomorrow maybe use some pv blaster. I will have better luck hopefully. Any ideas on how to make this easier?
Thanks for your time!

Don't forget to grease the new shafts, including both slip shafts then do it at least twice a year to maintain them.

Glad you got it out. It looked like when I removed it the factory had used loctite. I used Deep Creep by Seafoam. It helped a little but that pinion was just galvanically corroded in there.

I like to have some fun when I take off SOB bolts.
