Default sunroof drain repairs

Hi
I was checking / cleaning the front sunroof drains and noticed had broken away and the other side was not much better. Both have been glued before and this is what was blocking them. The plastic is very brittle and I do not want to try to glue again.
Is the plastic corner pieces available separately? (where the drain tubes connect)

Also the front fog lights do not work. Switch is ok, and everything from the engine bay relay to the lights is fine. Is there any connector etc between the switch and relay?
I would love to down load the w/shop manuel but only have dial up internet available!!

Thanks

Justin

No, you can not buy the drain parts you asked about, best thing to do is to use lots of good silicone type glue, that is what they do at the factory.
As for the fog lights, they will not run when using the high beams, if that is what you are doing.

Here's page for the fog wiring. You'll see a link in my signature for view manuals on line, you can select just the manual you want and download that as pdf. Can also buy cd of manuals, or dowload at the office or library and save to usb drive. Having on usb lets you carry copy in glove box for mechanic if stranded in Podunk. As an example, the electrical drawings are about 7 megabytes, vs over 600 mb for whole RAVE, which stands for Rovers A'int Very Economical, Rovers Are Very Expensive, Rover Advanced Vampire Ethics, Rovers Are Vile Excrement, etc. Actually Rover Automated Viewing Environment

So this may be fixed with jbweld and a straw. put the straw in the broken hole and build up the jbweld around it. as the jb is setting turn it being careful not to break it to get the straw out. make sure the jb is not blobby so as to make it too hard to put a hose over it later. you're making a new "nipple'. after its hard use a good silicon to secure it to maybe new hose. that should hold another ten years.

Hi
Ok , I though that might be the case with the sunroof. I might use a small length of alloy tube.

I tried the front fogs on all, park , low and high beams with nothing. I found the relay in the engine bay fuse box and checked this, and took the cover off and manually activated the relay, both fogs came on as well as the warning lamp in the switch.

Thanks for the wiring diagram, what does the Body Control unit and the IDM (??)have in the fog lights operation??

I noticed the rear fog lights have a small relay at the top of the drivers side interior fuse box.

Thanks

Justin

See attached from the RAVE electrical library, tells the theory of operation and how it works. The Body Control Unit handles a lot of logic and timing functions. There is also a separate wiring diagram for the rear fogs in the RAVE. You know you want to downoad your own copy....
