General Grabber Prices?

RE: General Grabber Prices?
The Grabber AT2 is an awesome tire. Mine have performed well off-road, on road and in blizzard conditions of Colorado. Keep in mind that the majority of sizes for the Grabber are "P" and not "LT." The "P" are still great off road. You may have to adjust your size if your want "LT."
Hope that helps.

Yeah, they seem to get the best reviews, and have the best prices. I wasnt able to call around today but it looks like pretty much everywhere I call is going to be in the same general range. I dont know much about the "P" and "LT" stuff, i guess thats something else to look into!
THANKS FOR THE INPUT!

The difference is the number of plys for the tires, "P" is usually 4 ply and "LT" is 6 or more. The more ply's you have the stronger the tire and the rougher the ride.
Make sure that the tires you get can handle the weight of the load they will be carrying.
More plys also allows for more air pressure, a "LT" tire might handle 100 psi where as a "P" tire could only handle 60 psi.
Not a consern for most people, but for farmers, delivery drivers and the like who load their trks to the max GVW you need to consider this stuff.
A "LT" tire with stiffer sidewalls will better handle being "aired down" for off road use and also hold up better to rocks and the like.
Your trk weight 6,000 lbs, so your tires need a 2,000 lbs rating min.

Then I found it. I also learned most LT sizes won't give you a manufacturer's warranty, or a UTQG rating..
