this is what's weird, and i mean god damned weird...
I'm a motorcycle mechanic, and customers, mostly first time customers, will say, "I saw this on the internet, and 2 guys on the internet said '(insert insane thing to do to your motorcycle here)' "
I am right there, in the flesh, with repair manuals to back me up, and you still really believe putting pickles in your throttle bodies is the best idea you've ever heard?
there is a lot of great information on here, and a lot of great folks on here, well, as far as I can tell...who knows really...
but, "The guy on the internet" is probably the most listened to "guy" EVER!!
at the end of the day, get a second opinion, or a third, DO NOTHING you feel may cause harm, and you should be ok...

I am new on these forums but am noooo stranger to online forums having built and hosted several myself. There is one invariable problem with forums. You cannot see expression or hear tone of voice in text. This causes alot of people to react as they see it happening in their mind. Not how the original poster had intended.
I am not defending anyone or pointing a finger at anyone for disagreements but rather pointing out you have to take all of the information on a forum with a thick skin. And please do not ever take
what is said to heart. Odds are you would not feel the way you do if you were saying the same things in a conversation face to face.
Now.. can't we all have a beer and just get along?

Does this mean we're not allow to mess with the new people? If so, I'm out of here. That will take all the fun out of this.
I'm going to make my millions selling canuter valves to Rover owners promising 50 mpg and an extra 100 HP. Only catch for the canuter valve to work properly and achieve the promised performance the proper muffler bearings must be installed, available only from you guessed, me. I think I'll go start counting my millions now.
