Very interesting.

You don't have a lift installed, right?

This may be my next mod.

Thanks for the info in this thread - I just bought the sandwich adapter, universal pod and a MANN 950/4 filter. I've already got an AutoMeter 4953 on the shelf that should work nicely.

Cold: 45 PSI at Idle 52 PSI 2000 RPM

Hot: 28 PSI at Idle 52 PSI 2000 RPM

Are these normal readings?

Obviously not done, wires just hanging for testing.

I gotta call another post out for giving misleading information .. ..

This filter does NOT FIT. There is a bolt with lines in the way and it WILL NOT FIT YOUR DISCOVERY 2. He doesn't show it in his photo ... his lines are removed ....I forgot I had lines there until I went to install it. Now I have a new filter doing in the trash and forced to put the USED filter back on so I can drive it to Oreillys and get another filter and more oil and do it AGAIN because of this misleading info costing me time and money.

DONT LISTEN TO THIS GUY, THE FILTER DOES NOT FIT.

If you have an oil cooler it might not, but it would fit my 04 without issue. I never saw the point in huge oil filters just do regular changes, and use a good quality filter and oil.
