Default Good Deal??

Just got word that someone is selling a set of 5 16 in. standard Disco wheels for $400. They are parting out the truck b/c of major body damage. It looks like (and I was told) thewheels are still in good shape. Is this a good price for the set? I have not done much shopping around so I am not sure if I could find them for cheaper. Seems pretty good to me though.

Are they for a D1 or a D2. D2 16's are higher because the 18" people want them for offroad. Even at that, if they aren't bent, that isn't a bad price....

They are D2s. I am actually looking to replacethe 18s that came with my D2. So I guess I am a person who drives up the price on D2s. $400 sounds resonable to me so I will make a visit to verify their condition. Thanks.

You can find many sets of 4 for $200 to $250. Now for 5 with center caps and lug nuts, it would start to look reasonable, other wise no more then $300 for 5 wheels.

Not sure if the seller was including the lug nuts in the price. I am assuming he is including the center caps though. If I were to go through with this purchase, would it be as easy as replacing my 18s with the 16s. Are there any other factors I may need to take into account? I am assuming since I have all stock parts and these are stock wheels, the exchange should be simple and problem free. Correct?

I just bought a set of 4 for my truck and paid 200, they were in great shape and barely had 1k on them, no lugs but all center caps. now to find the 5th.

Plug and play, no problems for you except to figure out what tire size and tread to go to. What will you be doing with the truck?

Mainly on road driving. However, I do some weekend (I would say 2-3 times a month I am off road)off road driving but nothing too extreme. I would like a tire that doesnt reduce MPGs but can hold its own off road. Suggestions? I know I have seen a lot of talk on this forum about tires.
