Is 135 a decent price for a d1 shifter that is going to b installed in a d2?

 

That's pretty spendy for a DI shifter.

I've seen '04 shifters go for around $65 from online junk yard databases.

Considering there aren't any currently being advertised on any of the Rover forum classified sections, that is a good price.

 

I bought a transfer case out of an '04 for $300 + $25 for the shifter/linkage if that gives you any perspective. I feel like there are always DI's being parted out and you could track down linkage for cheaper than $135 if you're not in a huge hurry.

 

I paid $100 for mine about 2 years ago. I got every little part with that. pleather boot, rubber under boot. Linkage, bolts to bolt onto the transmission(important b/c they are 2 diff lengths). Nut for on top of the CDL. So I'm saying there are many little bits that should come with it, if you DONT want to track that stuff down separately.
