Good source for Brakes and Rotors?
Trying not to post TOO much here, but I have been spending a lot of time under the hood recently doing fine tuning.
Brakes have a noticeable shimmy up front, through the steering wheel when braking. Does seem to resonate with speed, like a warped rotor.
Each time I look for parts at the rover part sites, someone says O'Reilly has the same part, often for less. What is a good source for rotors and pads? I found rotors and pads for $309 at AB.
Hawk Brake Rebuild Kit For Discovery 2
Thinking of also doing the master cylinder seal kit while I have the wheels off.
Thoughts?

I've got the Terrafirma vented rotors from Lucky 8. They're seriously the best rotors I've ever had on anything. I've had them hot enough to turn blue and they never warped or cracked. They did start to fade 2 or 3 hard stops after they started to smell, but it takes a LOT to get them there. Like, barreling downhill on a mountain road and slamming the brakes into every corner like you're driving a sports car for several minutes. Most guys run the Ackebono pads. I've currently got Federo pads and I like them, but I'm going to be trying the Ackebonos next time.
Shoot Erik a message or give them a call and see what they will do on price. They're always really helpful and they often give a forum member discount.

I have gone threw two sets of $100 Akebono pads, and did not see anything special with them.
the last set I got on eBay was 2 sets of ceramic pads and 4 rotors $150.00, they work fine.
go to eBay and type front and rear ceramic pads and rotor set for land rover discovery, you will get a few choices.

Here are the ones I've used and currently have on my 02 Kalahari D2. Brake Motive = power stop pads/rotors.
Brake Motive on Ebay
Stop very well, fit perfect, hardly any brake dust, and quiet.
