definitely an easy job but make sure you refill with engine running

for those that change a couple times to really get out the old stuff, do you prefer changing filter with the first fluid change or the last fluid change? i have the filter kit but figured i'd change it after my last change.

noticed a difference but mine was pretty smooth already. biggest difference i've gotten so far is the xfer case reseal and change, lost the whine! if only that worked on kids...

If you bought 12 quarts, you should have enough for a second drain and refill especially if you include a bottle of Lucas Tranny additive which will keep your tranny happy.
