Question Got myself a shipping question..

I was wondering if any of you could make a suggestion on which carrier that i use to send my running boards to the person that is buying them. I got a quote from fedex at like 170 bucks. I figured that there has to be a cheaper place to ship them through. Anyone got the answer?

I have much experience shipping!

Go online and go through every company to get quotes. If you like the price you can buy the postage online, DEFINATLY use your own packaging.

UPS
USPS
FEDEX

For economical shipping of over-sized items I have had the best success with Yellow Freight, and as previously mentioned you will want to pack it yourself.

Many airlines also have freight or cargo services. Something else you could look into. You will drop it off at the airport, and they will have to drive to the airport to pick it up.

I heard Greyhound has a similar service with drop off/pick-up at the bus station.

Its not just weight it is also size.
They will be considered oversize because they will not go down any conveyor belt.
The more hands that touch them the more you pay.
