Default Got some lights after desert trip...

Yesterday I drove back from Toroweap (Grand Canyon) to Los Angeles. Just before Vegas my AT oil temp light came on briefly. Paranoid as I am I look at the dash every few minutes and I literally saw it turning on. There was an exit a 1/4 mile down so I pulled off right away. As I came to a stop the light went out again and did not show again after.

I kept driving and as the first exits of Vegas came up, the differential lock light came on (red with the wheels, axles and drivetrain left top of instrument panel). I pulled over again and tried to find a good explanation in the manual. There is none. When I fired her up again, the TC and ABS light also came on which made me think these may be the 3 amigos. I drove a few miles to the In-N-Out and had a bite to eat. When I left again, all lights were off. Today, same thing happened: the dif lock light came on. Then after turning off the car and starting it again, the TC and ABS joined as well.

This week I drove pretty rough terrain (Saline Canyon Rd, Death Valley and multiple trails on the North side of Grand Canyon. There is dust and mud everywhere... Could that have caused for sdome dirty sensors that triggered these lights?

Thanks! (I will post pictures soon!)

Any ideas why the lights go on and off?

It seems like the TC and ABS are always on together. However, The dif lock light is sometimes on by itself or in combination with the TC and ABS. Today, they were all pretty much on all day...

Thanks guys!

First thing to do is check your brake lights are all working.

Default Same Lights

I get the same trifecta of lights every once and a while. usually they pop up after a day at the marina or after rain so I attributed them to moisture messing with the electrical system, but if your getting them from desert sand makes me think I need to start looking a bit harder.
