Default Government shutdown?

Any D2 owners employed by the government and not getting a paycheck? My wife and I are thinking about how we can help.

Not employed by the Government here, but helping a few that are as best as I can.

My wife works for the EPA, read non-essential personnel. Fortunately I am not affected by the shutdown and we are doing fine. Some people she works with are not so fortunate and are putting their belongings up for sale to pay bills, that are obviously not affected by the shutdown either..

I feel like if this goes on long enough we will know what a true government shutdown will be. Government employees will not be able to afford to go to work so they will just stop working. Except those in the positions that make the decisions will continue to collect a paycheck... I think we should use "Vatican rules" lock the parties in a room with no outside access until they figure this mess out.

I think the employees should give a 2 day notice, and then collectively not show up.

lets see how the world deals with no air traffic controllers.
