Ok, I got a good reply about asking them to replace the front U-Joints. I've looked at the British parts website and did not see the U-Joints?
Can someone help direct me?
If they will not do the swap out, is this something I can easily do???? I've got ramps, tools and reasonable Mech skills.
Thanks Guys

Precision part #344 - U-Joint. You'll need two. You'll also need the centering ball kit. Precision part # 671.
These folks seem to have reasonable prices...

You need Autozone part # PDQ 1-0005 (This part lists under 1993 Volvo 240 2.3l) If you ask for Land Rover, they wont have it. Its $11.99 each
You also need the centering ball kit. Precision 617 $25.79 at rockauto.com
You will also need a u joint tool http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=38335
You will also need a slide hammer. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=5223
IMO Its cheaper to buy the parts and tools and DIY than buying a rebuilt one (tom woods type..etc)... and you learn more about your rig this way...and have useful tools for use later..
