Default Greased up rear hub

I was dismantling the driver side rear brakes. I was going to put in new rotors and pads on my 02 Disco

. I removed the rotor and saw that there was grease caked on to the caliper and on the inside of the rotor. I'm thinking that it's the hub, but i don't see any definite signs of where the grease is coming from. Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong, or what my next step is? I appreciate any help.

You have a bad axle seal, let's not grease that's gear oil mixed with dirt.

it could also be caused by the rear axle breather being clogged, over pressurizing the axle and forcing fluid out. Or a combination of both over pressurizing and the seal like Extinct said.
