just in case anyone still wants one. i ordered one from the UK for $275 US dollars. Steep but it just depends on how much it is worth to you i guess. Will post pictures when i get it on.
i ordered it from lrseries.com

I was bidding on one on ebay two weeks ago but didn't win it. The guys ad said he had 5 or 6 NOS ones on his shelf. I think he was in Florida, I will try and see if I have his username in any of the emails, but I think I deleted them all.
This guy has "just" started listing them on Ebay in the UK, looks pretty good

Looks cool but is that the D1 saudi, or a D2 copy?
I like it but I can't shake the feeling that I could make something similar with plastic welder and chicken wire. With the value of the GBP vs the USD fabricating one would be my only option.

That would be a D2. But just trying to understand the interest in that grille. It does look good, but I've seen people here interested in it and they have nudge Abars with big fog lights or ARB bumpers with fogs.... you wouldn't even see the grill. Or would you ???
I'm a little surprised at the lack of innovation when it comes to parts like this...How many people know that you can go to a local fabrication shop that has either a waterjet or a laserjet machine and give them specs and have them cut out a very intricate grill for you. The best way of actually doing this would be to get an old grill from the junk yard or ebay etc. and then have a new insert made for it.
