Was gunna get a free brake test done...
...but the All Tune and Lube people didn't want to lift my truck up on the jacks because they have never lifted up a vehicle with SLS. They were afraid that the SLS would stay "up"
So my question is if it's ok just to lift it up on a rack to check the brakes and rotate the tires!
Thanks!!

Not unless it is lifted properly, there are steps you must follow. There are some ppl on here with SLS, they should respond to you shortly....
The truck must be lifted by the axlesNOT the frame. Meaning that even though the truck is 6ft in the air it still thinks that it is on the ground.
The axles CANNOT hang from the supension. The shocks, springs and airbags are not able to hold the weight of the axles.
So just tell the shop to pick it up buy putting the lift pads on the axles themselves.
Also when they put the wheels back on they CANNOT use a impact wrench. They must be put back on with a lug wrench otherwise you will never get your tires off if you have a flat. The lugs will "stretch" and your lug wrench will not fit and you will be on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck and spending money that you didnt need to while your pregnant wife is in labor and needs to get to the hospital while AAA tells you that it will be two hours before the tow truck can get there and you already shreeded the tire driving on it because you didnt know that the tire shop was not supposed to use the impact wrench to put your tires back on the truck.
Hope this helps.

A Disco with SLS can be picked up from the frame, I do it all the time with mine and those few times when the bags do deflate, which is seldom, they air right back up when lowered to the ground.
An All Tune and Lube shop is not the place to take a rover. These high school graduates arenot educated enough on these vehicles anyway.
