Default guys with roof racks

Ok, so after off roading this weekend I took the truck to the full service car wash for her twice a year bath and interior detailing.
As I was sitting there is the chair waiting for my truck to be done I had the thought, once I get my SD roof rack and rear ladder can I take the truck to the full service car wash?
Will I have to wash it myself?
Or will I just have the dirtiest truck in town?

Any input would be appriciated.

...or you could pay them to wash it by hand, but what fun would that be?

it only takes 20 minutes to wash it yourself and the "soaps" they use in those washes are horrible for your paint job.

I love hand washing the rover, I did it even before the roof rack. But either way, you wont fit, and if its not a laser wash they wont let you go in with a rack because the cloths might get wraped up in the rack or the ladder. Throw on a Hawiian shirt ( I KNOW you have a few!!!) and spend a sat. with the rover and a bucket of suds!

Not only do you not fit in the carwash anymore, there are some parking structures you won't fit in anymore... In my case not even my own garage! It is either Rover in, rack out. Rack in, Rover out, or rack-on-Rover out. Right now it's rack in, Rover out. Got it?

Disco Fuego-I like it when the racks are out.

I dont wash cars by hand, it is a HUGE waste of water, carwashes use a water reclemation system that seperates the oil and dirt from the water and then they reuse that water to wash your car.
Some cities have banned washing your car in your driveway because of drought and are issuing fines if you get causght.
We wash our cars twice a year, once in the spring to remove the road salt and once in the fall to remove the bugs.

I knew with a rack she wouldnt fit in my garage or a parking ramp so I guess I should have put 2 and 2 together and figured on the carwash too.
Thanks for the help guys.
