Halogen, HID, LED... Let's talk off road lighting
i drilled a hole through my roof, black RTV inside and out. i've never had a problem with leaks in my two jeeps with black RTV just on the outside, but i had the headliner out of the rover so i just smeared some on the inside too.
I drilled a hole in the gutter and ran wire, in gutter to rack mount, for roof lights.

dunno if this is exact, but it looks like it = 80W 15" Single Row CREE LED Work Light Bar Spot Flood Offroad 4x4 Driving Lamp | eBay

The switch wiring goes up halfway the external a-pillar, hole cut into the metal a-pillar, and behind the interior plastic a-pillar cover.
same way, as mentioned ^.
tucked in gutter, from hole above pillar, ran to first rack mount, then up to lights. I'd take a pic, but it looks like rtv, at this point.
but my switch wires drop back down and under, coming in the cab, from near brake grommet

I can attest to Dusty's light bar. At SCARR we did a night run and it was like driving in the day time. However Dusty does like to off road with no lights at night. That my friends is very interesting.....
