Default Happy to Report..

that after a month in the garage, I finally have Chancho II back on the road.

Work completed: new wires and plugs, new updated top radiator hose, new 70mm and 80mm idlers, tensioner assembly and belt.

The most difficult work completed by a newbie such as myself: replaced upper IM gasket, valve cover gaskets and valley gasket.

Results: Tight running beast with no codes, coolant leak completely gone and schrader valve fixed so Chancho won't **** fuel all over the ground.

Thanks to all of those that helped me with these jobs. I know I asked a lot of questions but I learned more than I ever thought possible. I had never done more than replace a battery before I bought this rig. I wanted to learn how to turn wrenches and man did I get my moneys worth.

Until the next code.....Thanks Again.

Congrats, welcome to the world of love/hate relationships

Remember, "Don't give up, it's only a machine"

I have to say, I'm at the point now that I'm starting to look for things to fix -(like an excuse to go into the garage)

luck,greg
