Question Hard to fuel 98 Disco

Greetings from the Land of OZ. I have a 98 Disco that just turned 100K miles, that has issues when pumping gas into it. It keeps kicking off the gas pump and it takes a looong time to fill the tank since it kicks off about every gallon (if you can get that much in at one time). It doesn't happen every place I pump but it's getting to where it happens most every time I fill up at most places. It was in more than once while under warranty for this issue and except when they replaced the gas tank filler tube, they always said they could not find anything wrong. Sometimes when it kicks off the pump it will vent some gas up out the vent tube in the filler neck. Anyone else have this issue or any ideas on fixing this. It's really becoming annoying and I really LOVE my Disco. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!
Dusty

1-pull the pump nozzle out of the filler neck part way.
2-run the pump on its slowest setting.
3-avoid the gas stations that give you the most trouble.
4-replace the filler neck vent tube.

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago. It was very hot and humid that day and the gas station was very busy. They have 16 pumps and they were all pumping. I have filled up at the same station since then and have not had any more issues.

I would go with Spike's #4 my 99 DI did the same thing 1gal at a time and you could hear the fuel bubbling down the neck. Replaced the filler neck vent and now its good to go.
