has anyone smashed in their gas tank before?? fixes??

OK, fixed it... I just dropped the skidd, smashed my thumb, hammered out skidd, fitted, removed, hammered, fitted, removed, hammered, fitted, removed, hammered again, fitted, used jack to help support while I lined up holes by hitch.... this was the biggest problem, were lining up the holes once hammered.... all in all it was about an hour fix.....
went to gas station and now I can fill to just above 3/4's full.... not perfect but better than half tank on this guzzler.... there is extra room in the skidd, so I'm hopping on a hot day it will expand some more.... thanks for all your 2 cents, and the occasionall nickle and dime.... Its all been appreciated....
have a back up cam now.... no more sneaky boulders....
