Any chance of a couple of photos?
This makes no sense to me if the parts are correct.

I will try to get some pictures posted, hopefully tonight. It is raining right now so I will wait for it to lighten up a bit. Unfortunately I do not have a garage to work in.

Okay, I think I may have this figured out. Are the mud guards supposed to be attached to the outside of the caliper? That would make sense because of thier shape and also it seems to fit much better that way. I cannot find anything about it in my manuals. I had just bought this Disco and it is my first, so I am still learning. Whoever put the rotors on the back the last time had the mud guard attached on the inside of the caliper and forced them on, which would explain why the other side was stripped out. If I attach them on the outside, everything seems to fall into place. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I hope I'm not seeing how it is pouring down rain and I have got to get this done tonight.

Yes the dust guards are supposed to attach to the outsides of the calipers.

Default Finally, I got it!

I got it! I thought it was funny that the mud guards were on the inside of the caliper. Of all the rotors and brakes I have changed, I have never seen the mud guard on the inside of the caliper. I have never worked on a Land Rover before so I thought, well maybe they are different on these cars since that is the way it was when I took it off, I assumed they were supposed to be that way. I am guessing since the rotors that I took off were turned down, that is why they were able to put them on this way. I am guessing this is the first of many mistakes I may come across as I begin replacing things here and there.
Thanks for all of your help guys!
