Default HDC doesn't work but no indications

Tried the HDC today going down a buddies steep incline. It's worked in the past but today all I get is the dinging and the green blinking light. No fault indications that anythings wrong, except it just isn't working. Read the manual multiple times to verify I'm doing everything right and I am. Yes, it's in low range. Any ideas? Thanks.

No, I have nothing on the instrument panel except the blinking HDC green and the dinging. It's almost like it's not sensing low range being on. But low range is engaged.

I have the same issue (Gold disco) I am thinking along the same path as you in that the truck is not sensing low range is engaged, as everything else on the truck works perfect if you figure it out please post solution. I do a lot of wheeling with my truck and would love to use HDC.

Start a new thread...and use the search function (hint:type in "SLS air leak")...I'm going to go out on a limb, take a wild guess and assume that a "Wheel Works" knows nothing about Land Rovers.

Why not convert to springs and forget the hassle?

Did you have the CDL light on, on your dash and if you gave it power, were you in low range? If so then the ECU knew you were in low lock, not low.

May be time to read your owners manual to learn where you are coming up short on this.
