HDC keeps chiming.
Like the title says even when it is put into low gear like you should it still continues to chime until its shutoff. I just recently go the car and did the option B fix and cleared the ABS codes with the reader codes were to do the option B fix to fix it and dirty wheel sensors. There are some small steeper hills around where i live to test and it does nothing but chime when it is placed in low and in 1. There are no lights on the dash at all so im not sure what the problem could be. Also I took it in a bit of mud and got slightly stuck (cause it came with highway tires on it) and the wheels were spinning and the TC light never came on so im not sure if its the wheels speed sensors not functioning correctly or what. How would I go about cleaning the wheel speed sensors cause the car was sitting for a bit before i bought it so there may be some rust and grime built up on them
Yes all lights do light up when you first turn it on. Ill have to hit it with the reader again. Its weird because I have gotten the TC to kick in like twice but not in times when I thought it should kick in. Once was just when i was first testing the ABS (which works but it seems like it takes a bit for it it to kick in) i was on some stones so i floored it and turned the wheel to see it it works and the light and system kicked on and seemed to do what it should. The other time was when I was going thru a ditch which seemed easy enough to go thru but the lights kicked on. But they never did kick on when i was some deeper mud and some of the wheels were just spinning. Not sure if this is normal or i have more work to do. But the HDC has never worked the light just comes on and i think I remember it flashing and chiming (not sure on the flashing but it does 100% chime). Later today ill get it with the reader again and see what shows up
