Default Head Gasket Kit

Anyone purchased a full kit from Eurotek APG? Seems like a good price for the full kit w/bolts..

I am going to need to replace my gaskets next spring and possibly my heads. Just wanted to get a start...

I wouldn't put anything on but Rover gaskets and bolts, check out Atlantic British for a good price on the real thing.
Why are you thinking you need to replace your heads also, that is very rare?

Cheaper to get new heads than have mine re-done with new valves. I have a constant tick/slight hesitation that I am almost positive is from a burned valve. I am not going to buy until I get them off.

I also thought these were genuine parts. I wouldn't get a gasket kit unless they were genuine.

Hmmm...the ad says they're "aftermarket" so it's a safe bet they're not genuine Rover parts. I'd skip 'em and go to Atlantic British for the real deal.

New heads are $1000 a piece at Atlantic British, maybe can be found for less but not by much. I don't know who quotes you such a high price to do a valve job, but I would shop around for a better price, something in the $400 range to rework the heads, you don't need new valves.

Those are not new, probably reconditioned and if so what exact parts did he use, that is important for you to know.

bought new in 2000 and never installed. The block was found to be bad. They were oiled and bagged and stuck in his garage. He bought a new motor. With them being purchased in 200, the valves have the carbon cutters, and he has the receipt from LR Tulsa. I have seen them and they have not been installed. The guy has not given me any reason to not trust him. I think it is on the up and up.

They are only $450 from Atlantic British (a piece).....
