Default Head gasket kit

Just wondering everyones opinion on who makes the best priced/quality head gasket kit.Getting ready to replace my leaking head gaskets.

Also Rover Connection and DAP, all sell a good product.
Also make sure you replace the t/stat, plug wires if not yet done and upper radiator hose if not up-graded to the new bleed screw in the plastic tee.

Totally awsome!!!!! got a local lr mechanic to do my hg job on the side for 7 bills and a bottle of glenfiddich! (not including hg kit from dap) still what I think is a good deal!(im sure it that helped that he is a former marine like me).Thanks for the hg info and as usuall thanks Disco Mike you are the best!

that is a good deal! make sure while you are at it to get the 8mm magnecors and bosch +4 plugs installed. and like mike said thermostat and t connector

I plan in doing my head gasket also on my 2001. I bought the head gasket kit, headbolts, t-stat, and the hose kit to repalce all my hoses. Does the bleed screw in the t connector you guys have been talking about come in the hose kit from AB???

The bleeder screw comes with the updated hose kit, When you guys remove your heads you may want to pressure check the block to see if your sleeves are leaking coolant at the top of the liner. I have the engine pulled on our DII because of this problem ( I replaced the head gaskets first, dident fix it!) I saw a block pressure check kit online for the 4.0 and 4.6 designed for checking after the heads are removed. If I can use my block I plan to re-sleeve with w/top hat liners, this is to insure that the liners will not drop in the block. I'll keep you posted---------------jneil
