If the injectors sit up higher then I would think you would be unable to use the factory fuel rail and the upper intake would probably hit them (there is very little clearance as it sits already).

I was curious as to how that would work out myself.

I'm not changing out the injectors. I'm more than happy with how this thing runs now so I'm not spending money to change it. No matter what I do, it's still going to be a heavy, ponderous truck. I just want to make sure it keeps running so I think keeping it from spewing coolant makes sense. I'll freshen up the oil pump and I guess I'll get the gears and chain while I'm at it and hopefully that will be it for a while.


By the way, here's a picture of a nice coolant stalactite by the starter in my truck. Sure looks like a head gasket.
