Default Head Reassembly Questions re: lifters and oil pump.

Picked up my dishwasher clean heads from the machine shop today and am ready to start putting my engine back together.

Do I need to be concerned about the lifters having bled off when I yanked out the push rods? What about priming the oil pump?

At any rate, I planned on pouring a quart of oil over the camshaft and one along each head instead of adding all of the oil at the very end. Seems reasonable...right? Right?

also dip all the lifters and pushrods in oil. You don't need to prime your pump but if you want pull the fuel pump and coil fuses and crank it for 15 seconds to get the juices flowing.
