Tow Hitch Reassembly (Oops!)
I lost the key to my Land Rover tow hitch... after reading on another forum how to remove the pin and pull off the green handle, I decided to clean and lube the mechanism, while waiting on my replacement lock handle from BPUtah. I removed the plate on the opposite side (held in by an allen screw). Well, I pulled out the rod that has the gear teeth and spring and greased them up. But now forgot exactly how the gear teeth were oriented. If anyone is doing something as stupid as I did, would you mind snapping a photo (with the side cover plate off) of the gear teeth orientation, from the side view, so that I know how to position/orientate the gear rod?
I'm waiting on my new part to re-assemble.

I've done the same before, and it is a pain to get back on right.
Only advice I can give is keep trying, it took a while, but I eventually got it back together and working, so know it can be done, but it is a pain.
