Default headlight bulbs

My right one just popped this morning, haven't had a chance to pull it yet but figured I'd see if you guys know off hand. Are the bulbs a standard easy-to find that I can pull it and go grab at autozone, or do Ineed to swing by the dealer on my way home from workand just one there?

Most Auto Zone type stores will have standard replacement bults as well as the newer super blue/white type bulbs. One thing to remember is you replace any head lights in set of 2 otherwise you may end up with either 2 different colors of bulbs or one being brighter then the other, so replace both.

Mike, do you have (or know somebody that does) experience with the "blue" looking lights for 99-02 DIIs. I like the look of the blue light on most imports, but not quite sure how it'll look on my disco. Any imput?

I personally don't like them on a tall vehicle like a Disco, they are too bright for coming towards them.

Watch out getting too blue on the spectrum. It will blind other drivers, but won't give you much more light. I put some on my D1 and I could see signs light up miles down the road, but couldn't see regular thing any better. Go for super white or something similar.

Oh, and if you still want the housing to be blue, replace the little parking lights with blue bulbs.

That reminds me.. Does anyone else have a problem with people flashing their lights at u like ur high beams are on? Mine are adjusted all the way down and still people flash at me, and small cars in front of me give me the "turn your brights off axxhole break-check".
