Default New headlight bulbs look great.

Last week I installeda pair of Raybrig White Thunder halogen bulbs in my 99 DII. They are a beautiful bright white (4000K) and LOOK GREAT on my truck. I've watched the wiring all week and they seem to be fine. They draw 130/140 which is the highest I have heard of anyone running on this forum. Raybrig is a Japanese companythat makes high quality bulbs, I would highly recomend them. If you hunt, you can find a pair for around $100. I paid 5000 yen for mine ($45) as I live in Japan.
All three of my cabin lights have been replaced with LEDs. Each LED panel has 24 bulbs on it! The panels are about 1 square inch and fit the socket through an adapter that looks like the the replaced bulbs. So I guess that means I have 72lights that come on when I open my door..... You could say that, 'I have a Disco in my Disco!'...... I'm sorry for that[sm=badidea.gif].

The LED's seemed to get a bit hot, but I think my the plastic can handle it, as they are not that much hotter than the original bulbs.

I was actually thinking of getting the yellow version for my headlights. Thought it might be a neat touch.

LED do not get hot at all, they actually emit no heat whatsoever. Are you sure you have LED's?

I don't have fogs . Thinking of an ABS A-frame for the front to add a couple of hellas, but might just wait and add an ARB with a winch....I need more $$$. Tons of things I want to do, just need the finances.

I installed Sylania Silverstar H7 bulbs in my headlights, and they make a big difference compared to the stock bland halogen bulbs that come w/the Discoverys.

They're pretty cheap too- I bought the bulbs on ebay for $23. It is brighter and whiter without looking like it's a aftermarket product.

I wish a vendor out there can fabricate and mass produce true HID headlamps specifically for late model Disco I's & II's.(I'm talking true HIDs like the range and the LR3's)
