Few write ups on it running around the Internet, I did mine using a couple different guides. The only issue I had was a few of them had different color wires than mine in the wiring diagram. There is metal cutting (a little) and some creativity needed to hold the lights in place. The lower smaller headlight in the bright beam, and it is on along with the regular beam when the brights are on. Doing that requires a relay to be wired in. If you attempt it and get confused many have done this mod and can help you out should you get stuck (myself included)

As stated above it can be done but why go through all that trouble only to have your headlights fog up or turn yellow? I like the ones that came stock on my 2000, they require no maintenance and will be clear forever.
