Default Headlight swap?

Ok, I am a new to the Land Rover life.
So far happy as hec! Or should I say hooked!
I have obtained a set of 2004 headlights and want to install them.
I am very able to do mechanic work, I do have a background.
Just new to Rovers. I did search couldn't find anything unless I missed it.
I have read a whole bunch and got allot of good stuff here already!
Thank you in advance!

Have you also obtained the harnesses, grille, and headlight finishers?

Ironically it came with no headlight finishers or bumper, I bought finishers on eBay, looked for harness and need to call this place from eBay also that makes harnesses as I did a search. My grill is cracked so I need a new one anyways. (that's how I found lights) I'm privy to a little tailoring to make it, would it be a easy mod.? Finishers, grill, and lights?

No, it's not really an "easy" mod. It's easier than some things, but a lot of custom work and bracket making is required. Getting the harness will make everything a LOT easier. You will have to cut the old headlight housings out and create brackets to hold the new headlights in. It's also a pain to do this while keeping proper alignment in mind.

Ok, I can buy into that, as with everything moding take work and know how. Am I going to trash my 99 lights or just make my own brackets? I have a 99 F350 and I put 07 lights in and had to do some cutting and worked out great. Just wondering what I am getting into. Maybe a thread that was already generated. If not ny pics out there with this done?

I'd show you the photos of my install, but I don't really take pride in my handy work, and certainly wouldn't show anyone how jenky my install was. Here is before and after:
