Headliner done and painted with rubber coating
Hello everyone, I just did my headliner. I power washed it using the "general" tip and then used a scotch pad to smooth it out. It took a day to dry due to the foam. I then bought a case, 6 cans of Performix Plastic Dip at Home Depot for $30.00 and I think it turned out pretty good. I went with the rubber paint because it is flexible and durable. I will post more pictures when I put it back in. I wont get it back in till Tuesday due to having windows tinted on Monday. It looks like it has fabric on it. I tried painting it first but was not happy with it so I then bought the Plastic Dip. The plastic dip is paintable and would be a great primer. It is supposed to help suppress noise as well. Power washing only took 20 minutes and another 15 to smooth it out. The rubber paint coats really well.
