Default Headliner (quick one)

For anyone who has replaced theirs with fabric will a 60" width fit?
Measuring by hand seems 57" at widest point leaving a small amount of wrap around. It's difficult to find suppliers with anything wider in "better" material choices.. I know there is a hundred threads on painting etc but just need help with size to order

Get the 60". That curve around the bottom takes more than you would think.

This is an option although it costs more than going to a fabric shop:

1994-2004 Discovery I & II Headliner Material [3] - $118.00 : Headliner Express

I wouldn't pay 110$ for headliner material, that's outrageously over priced. I bought mine from a local shop for 30$, like 62 inches wide. I didn't even know the shop existed, I recommend you call someone (a shop) who does headliners, and ask them if you brought the material how much would they charge you, then ask where they get there material, then just not call them back, its what I did, now I have a good automotive fabric store to go when in need

I've had 3 disco's and all of them needed headliners.

Taking it to a shop and having it done was about $200 cash and took them about a day.

All about what your time is worth. Its been my experience that cosmetic items are very cheap to have fixed by indy shops specializing in them, and mechanical stuff costs roughly the national debt of Liberia.

Thus, I sub out the stuff like headliners. And concentrate on the important stuff, like excuses to buy more tools......
