Default Headliner refurb

Finally got around to pulling out the headliner to chase down a few leaks. Turns out that the last time I had the liner out to fix the sunroof drains, I missed one...which was leaking. Also found some leaks from a poorly installed windshield 😠. Refurbed the headliner with a flexible textured paint product called Liquid Rubber. They offer a variety of colours and I went with beige. I tried to find bed liner in beige but here in Canada it's almost impossible to find anything other than black. The interior of the rig is bone dry and no more sags or greasy finger prints on the headliner.

Good for you! I'm a big advocate of painting vs. reupholstering. For others who may be interested in painting the headliner, here's a link to a thread I started 11½ years ago with tips and tricks about removing and painting the headliner. In my opinion, the pebbly finish of the fiberglass shell is great and you don't need to use a textured paint to get a great looking result. I just used a good quality exterior latex.
