I first glued down a thin foam, then glued the palm leave fabric on top of that. The material is stretchy, like spandex. I think it's known as "Performance Piqué" fabric. I used 3M headliner glue. I also left out the nets, as they are useless.

outstanding!

Stripeyze, or something spelled similar makes very short work of removing the adhesive, foam, etc.

I removed the foam etc. on two headliners just using heavy leather gloves and some mild elbow grease. just the friction was enough to strip it off.

On the P38, I removed all the old foam with a wire brush. Then replaced the headliner with new foam backed headliner material. Not a difficult job, but a bit fiddly.

I like the fabric as it is different.

Do you think you will get tired of it?

I was contemplating using a british flag and doing the same thing or a large "Land Rover" symbol

The fabric was only 54" wide, so I had a seamstress cut it and sew it to give me a piece 64" wide x 108" long.
