Really not a big deal I had to replace my coils this weekend so I replaced my wires and plugs while I was there total time 3.5 hours including the front 02's outside lovely NE weather.

there is a total of 8 bolts for the upper plenum, 2 for the coil bracket, everything else is a plug or hose clamp.
I dont remember taking the coils out when removing the Upper intake. I just loosened them. But good time to change plug wires
S Buzz says he can tighten his without removing the upper intake. I have never figured that out. Must have some kind of weird looking tool. Looks like it must be attacked from the front ??
Anyway Like Drow said best time to replace the Plug wires if needed while all this is apart . It is recommended to replace the upper intake gasket after removing it.
Cheers

Plugs wires and unknown coils where already replaced by previous owner roughly around 100K. Currently the truck has 134K so I really dont believe I should be worrying about them now. Thanks for the tips. I already tightned 4 bolts I could reach without tearing everything apart and topped off the oil. Have my eye on the oil dipstick and so far so good...
