DISAPPOINTING, for sure!
Unfortunately that's on par for $hitPart "quality".
It's ALL just garbage in a blue box!

That red color is weird. I used one a good while ago (customer bought it) and it was black just like the OEM unit. Dunno how it held up as the guy lived in FL lol.

I painted it Chevy Orange during my HG job. I restored and painted the Heater Coolant parts, and my **** retentive side will not let me have two different colors of pipes in there.

I painted mine red!

But mine is still OEM and fine. I'm a little surprised that something that simple would be that much different than oem...

That said, I bought the URO rocker shaft when I did mine (broken valve spring so all top end got replaced) and I got both of them for half the price other places had them....now i'm nervous. Lol

Praying for your rocker shaft......

I would have been happy to restore and paint my original elbow pipe, but it was dinged on the top lip, and you could see that liquid had made it to the O-Ring, so I thought I would be smart and replace it. Maybe not so smart, I could have tried to rework the metal lip.
