My Discovery 2 heated windscreen is not working very well. In fact only 2 vertical areas about a cm wide are cleared when I turn it on. Can anyone suggest a resolution that doesn't involve removing & refitting the screen?

Unfortunatly your are in need of a new windshield at this point, there is no way to get in and try and repair all the wires that are now not working.
